Red Birds
Elkton, Maryland-based alternative country trio Red Birds brings a haunting, mellow sound and heart-wrenching performances to the stage. A year after their debut single “Crickets”, they released their first full-length album, Things we thought we forgot, on all major streaming platforms on April 25. For a limited time, fans can purchase the album on vinyl or download it digitally via their official Bandcamp.
Penny Death
Penny Death is an aggressive indie punk act hailing from Delaware, recently dropping an EP with the playfully chaotic title Kind of Like the Rest (Or Cornered Pt II, or Clarity? Egalitarianism? Sure! Penny Death! :)) . A familiar face in the local music scene—and proud of it—Penny Death brings raw energy and local flair, with tracks like “Pulaski Park” and “Sussex County Blues” on the latest release. Qway
Qway is an aptly self-described Eastern psych rock band from Philadelphia. They're independently releasing their debut album Solidus on May 30, and celebrating with an album release party at Johnny Brenda’s, featuring special guests Keegan Tawa and Grim Is Human. Monika Bullette
Delaware-based artist Monika Bullette is celebrating the 20th anniversary of her album The Secrets with a re-release of the record that earned her Philadelphia City Paper’s 2005 honor for “Best Album You Can Get for Free and Without a Guilty Conscience.” The Secrets is an eclectic journey through folk, rock, psychedelic sounds, and more. Monstera
Monstera is an emo/indie band from Philadelphia, PA whose music centers around growth, mental health, and emotional resilience. Their debut album, Garden of Eden, explores themes of feminism, personal transformation, and social justice with a raw, heartfelt sound. All Systems Go
New Jersey-based All Systems Go delivers pop punk with a rock & roll edge. The four-piece band recently self-released their EP Finding Closure on February 19—a four-song project produced and mixed by Gary Cioni at Sound Acres Recording Studio in Pilesgrove, NJ.
