August 8 - Galactic at The Queen

Over the past three decades, Galactic has become a cornerstone of New Orleans’ vibrant music scene—the same world that first brought them together in the ’90s as a late-night funk outfit deeply rooted in the city’s signature sound. August 8 - Adam Ezra Group at Elkton Music Hall

After delivering one of the most memorable and moving concerts at Elkton Music Hall in 2024, the Adam Ezra Group returns on August 8. This award-winning Americana band is known for their powerful live performances and deep commitment to activism and social justice—often raising money for charitable causes at their shows. August 8 - Blank Pages at The Kennett Flash

Founded in 2015 as an acoustic duo by high school friends Jimmy Hudson and Dominic Wayne, Blank Pages has since expanded both in lineup and sound with the additions of drummer Nik Mulrine, guitarist Drew Cook, and bassist Brian Kagel. Catch them live at The Kennett Flash on August 8, joined by Delaware garage/psych band Monopod and Baltimore-based Sam and The Vampire for a night of high-energy, genre-blending rock. August 10 - The Homey Awards at  The Queen

Presented by Delaware Public Media and powered by Gable Music Ventures, the 19th Annual Hometown Heroes Homey Awards returns to The Queen on Sunday, August 10. Hosted by Hometown Heroes’ own Mark Rogers, the night will feature award presentations in 28 categories, electric live performances from this year’s Song of the Year nominees, surprise moments, and more. August 12 - Joann Shaw Taylor at Arden Gild Hall

Years after an early-career visit to Arden, blues-soul powerhouse Joanne Shaw Taylor returns to Arden Gild Hall’s Shady Grove Stage for another electric performance. Backed by her incredible band, she’ll deliver a dynamic set featuring tracks from Heavy Soul, her upcoming album Black & Gold, and a mix of fan favorites and timeless blues classics. August 15 - The Alex Lucero Band at The Queen

The Alex Lucero Band is a soulful Country/Americana touring act based out of Santa Cruz, CA, known for their heartfelt sound and Alex Lucero’s signature whiskey-soaked vocals. With a beautiful new single out, “Every Little Thing”, and a cross-country tour underway, they’re on a mission to make new friends and fans along the way. August 22  - Lower Case Blues at The Listening Booth

Mid-Atlantic favorites Lower Case Blues have been lighting up the scene since 2003 with their unique blend of traditional blues and modern, funk-infused jams. Known for their improvisational style and organic instrumentation, the trio brings raw energy to every performance. Catch them live with The Spike Bryant Trio on August 22 at The Listening Booth. September 3 - Pony Bradshaw at Elkton Music Hall

Critically acclaimed songwriter Pony Bradshaw returns to Elkton Music Hall on September 3, bringing his signature blend of folk, country, and soul along with the poetic storytelling that has earned him a devoted following. Touring in support of his new album North Georgia Rounder, Bradshaw delivers new songs with the same intimacy, urgency, and vulnerability that define his sound. Opener to be announced soon. September 7 - George Thorogood at The Grand Opera House

Delaware icon and rock legend George Thorogood returns to his home state for a high-octane performance at The Grand Opera House on September 7. With a five-decade career that includes over 8,000 live shows, more than 15 million albums sold, and a reputation as “the band that plays hot enough to melt the polar icecaps” (Rolling Stone), George Thorogood & The Destroyers are bringing their signature firepower to the stage once again.
