Summer’s heating up, and with some unfortunate cuts to government arts funding, it’s more important than ever to support the local scene. We’ve put together a great list of shows at local venues so grab some tickets and show your support! Together, we can keep this region a music destination.

June 14 - The George Crotty Trio at The Kennett Flash
Known for their expressive fluidity and modal orientation, The George Crotty Trio makes music that is cinematic, collaborative, and conversational. They draw on influences within Indian raga, Arabic maqam, and modal jazz; using the language of other cultures to speak new things. Catch them live at The Kennett Flash on June 14. June 14 - Pride Festival at The Queen
If you’re looking for a place to celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride Month then The Queen in Wilmington is your final destination. The event will be hosted by beloved DJ Shadylady and include live bands, drag performances, live painting and more. For more information and tickets, visit them online here.
June 19 - Hackensaw Boys at Elkton Music Hall!
The Hackensaw Boys are a troupe of folk bluegrass players from Charlottesville, NC currently based in Virginia. They’re bringing their foot-stomping hand-clapping good music, and celebrating the 20th anniversary of their album Love What You Do to Elkton Music Hall on June 19 along with the special guest The High and Wides. June 19 - 6th Annual Beyond Juneteenth Festival at The Delaware Art Museum
Anyone looking to celebrate Juneteenth need look no further then The Delaware Art Museum and their 6th Annual Beyond Juneteenth Festival. June 27 - Candace Culcleasure at The Opulent
North Carolina-born, Delaware-based Candace Culcleasure is a world class jazz singer and musician. She’s bringing her talent to lounge and event space The Opulent for a special night of jazz presented by The Delaware Music Network on June 27. June 30 - Diana Krall at The Grand Opera House
Diana Krall is the only jazz singer to have eight albums debut at the top of the Billboard Jazz Albums chart. To date, her albums have garnered two GRAMMY Awards, ten Juno Awards and have earned nine Gold, three Platinum, and seven multi-Platinum albums. July 7 - Eric Hutchinson at The Listening Booth
For the past decade, Eric Hutchinson has been mastering the art of his unique, personal songwriting while exploring diverse musical genres like pop, soul, Americana, jazz and more. Now, the platinum-selling singer-songwriter is releasing CLIFF NOTES - The Best of 2014-2024 - an essential collection of Hutchinson’s ever-evolving discography. To celebrate his new Best Of release, Eric is hitting the road in 2025 to perform all his most popular songs from the past ten years - pop anthems like “Tell The World”, “A Little More”, and “Dear Me”, as well as cult-classics like “Forget About Joni” and “a million bucks on a queen motel bed”. July 13 - Sister Sparrow at Arden Gild Hall
Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds have been hailed for their explosive brand of modern soul, celebrated equally for their five studio albums and electrifying live performances. Arleigh Rose Kincheloe grew up in an intensely musical family in upstate New York’s Catskill Mountains, co-founding Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds with her brother Jackson at just 18. They’ve consistently toured alongside top acts including Allen Stone, Trombone Shorty, The Revivalists and Anders Osborne and they're stopping by Arden Gild Hall to play the Shady Grove Stage on July 13.
