Get To The Gig: Winter Queen with The Knotty G’s and Friends

The Queen Theatre is set to become the epicenter of a musical journey through time on Friday, December 22nd, 2023, as traveling musical husband-and-wife duo, The Knotty G's, proudly present Winter Queen. A live performance celebrating the legendary music that echoed within the walls of Bill Graham's iconic Winterland Ballroom, this special event promises to be a night of unforgettable performances, featuring an extraordinary house band and a lineup of esteemed regional talents.

Joining The Knotty G’s, the backbone of this spectacular event is none other than a powerhouse house band, curated to perfection. Renowned bassist Felix Pastorius, known for his groundbreaking work that transcends genres, will lay down the grooves. Grammy award-winning Justin Stanton, a key member of Snarky Puppy, will mesmerize the audience with his virtuoso keyboard skills. The rhythm section will be fueled by the dynamic duo of Neal "Fro" Evans, hailing from Dopapod, and Jamie Newitt, of The Heavy Pets, on drums.

The house band members boast an impressive array of accolades. Felix Pastorius, recognized for his groundbreaking contributions to jazz fusion, brings a unique sonic identity to the stage.
