Thankful, Grateful, and Ready to Rock 2023

As the leaves fall and musicians finish up tours to head back into the studio, we encourage all our readers and artists to take a moment to think about the year so far. Reflection can be beneficial on a personal and professional level and the Holiday season invokes a nostalgia like no other time of year. We sat down with several music artists in the area to hear what they’re grateful for and looking forward to in the months ahead.

Callum

What are you thankful for?

I’m thankful for the support and love from everyone around me, from my family and friends to producers, band mates, media outlets and fans. I’m also very thankful for all of the opportunities to showcase my music, from recording to concerts and festivals.

What are you looking forward to?

I’m looking forward to Headlining my first Concert at the Globe in Berlin, sponsored by Soundstorm Records. And also to Headlining the NYE Ball drop in Berlin!

What are you thankful for?

I'm thankful for the opportunity to be a part of such a rich community of artists in the Philadelphia region. So many bands, songwriters, activists, and true freaks of all kinds feel like family to me. The warmth of collective empowerment is so real and so rare.

What are you looking forward to?

I'm looking forward to change. We've seen so much change in the last few years, for better and for worse, that anyone who doesn't think anything is possible is lying to themselves. Indeed, we have the power to shape our community through our relationships with one another. I can feel the potential for love and I know I'm not alone.

Music serves as the driving force behind my creativity, providing me with a medium to express my deepest emotions. It is the one thing I eagerly anticipate each day.

What are you looking forward to?

Looking ahead, I'm excited about the limitless possibilities that 2024 will offer. It's a new year filled with potential, where I can continue to explore and evolve as an artist, connect with my audience on a deeper level, and create music that resonates with people's hearts and souls.

What are you thankful for?

I am extremely thankful to experience such an abundance of love and peace in my life! Being surrounded by good friends, family as well as meeting incredible people everyday really makes me feel like I’m on the right track and fills me with lots of joy! I am also so thankful for all of the amazing opportunities I have received this year! So much growth and lots of learning, I can’t wait for what’s to come in 2024!

What are you looking forward to?

I am really looking forward to Ty Fest at Theater N on January 27th! This is a Festival that I created alongside lots of beautiful talented people. It’s always been a dream of mine to unite people of all ages and all backgrounds to shine. The show opens up with a meditation and affirmation set followed by performances of some of Delaware's finest! We invite all out to enrich their lives through the power of Peace, Love, Unity! For me it’s a huge blessing to celebrate this event at a legendary venue and to be able to spread peace and love to people of all ages and all walks of life.
